Jon James is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Ramos James Law. With a wealth of general management experience spanning finance, operations, marketing, and business strategy, Jon plays a pivotal role in driving the firm’s financial performance, operational efficiency, and marketing.
Prior to joining Ramos James Law, Jon held senior leadership positions at Expedia Group, where he served as Vice President, Head of Vrbo. Jon was responsible for the results of a multi-billion dollar business and led capital allocation, execution, and business strategy across all functions.
Over the course of 13 years with Vrbo, he led strategic initiatives, managed performance, and streamlined operations for global teams resulting in billions of dollars of revenue and profit growth.
Jon holds a degree in Business Finance from Miami University, graduating magna cum laude. Early in his career, Jon honed his skills in financial analysis, performance management, and ecommerce expertise at HomeAway and Total Quality Logistics in various business intelligence and ecommerce roles.
Jon is married to Laura Ramos James, and together, they have two daughters, Victoria and Alexandra. Outside of work, he is passionate about fostering growth and innovation within his community and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
