A person was killed in an Austin motorcycle accident on July 7. This is one of dozens of fatal accidents that have happened in the city so far this year. The Austin Car Accident

On Sunday, July 7, a deadly motorcycle accident occurred in Northwest Austin. The accident happened at the intersection of McNeil Drive and West Parmer Lane just before 10 p.m. According to authorities, one adult died on the scene. There is no information as to the identity of the deceased or which vehicle they were traveling. There is also no information regarding how many other individuals were involved in the crash. The road was closed as the scene was processed, but it was reopened by 8 a.m. on Monday, July 8.

According to reporting from CBS Austin, the Austin Police Department had responded to 40 fatal crashes in the city as of 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. That’s one fatal accident roughly every five days.
