The Leander Motorcycle Accident

According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), a motorcyclist died on Wednesday, April 24, after being involved in a crash. The accident happened on Lime Creek Road near Travista Drive, and ATCEMS responders arrived on the scene at around 7:04 p.m.  Along with ATCEMS, Travis County STAR Flight also assisted at the scene. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the victim, but they succumbed to their wounds on the scene at around 7:48 p.m. The victim has not been identified. There is no information as to how the crash occurred, and no mention of any other vehicles being involved. Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area while the scene was being processed.

However, the numbers are much closer when it comes to deadly motorcycle accidents, suggesting rural accidents are deadlier. About 56% of deadly motorcycle accidents occur in cities.
